We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Test Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic systems in a dynamic medical device Research and Development environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a 2-year electronics or engineering technology background who are comfortable working with lab equipment, executing test procedures, and accurately recording results.

- Execute electrical and functional tests on electronic assemblies and finished products
- Set up and operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and spectrum analyzers
- Follow detailed test procedures and document results accurately
- Support engineering teams with validation, verification, and debug activities
- Record and communicate test results and anomalies
- Assist with failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Assist in the development and improvement of test procedures and fixtures
- Maintain test equipment calibration and ensure proper lab practices
- Perform regular maintenance and verification of test equipment, ensuring optimal measurement performance and accuracy
- Support testing at external contract test laboratories by transporting and setting up the device, monitoring functionality and communicating with test laboratory personnel
- Associate degree or technical certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or related field
- Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Experience using standard lab test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supply)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams, contributing to product development and continuous improvement processes
- Highly self-motivated with strong time management skills, consistently prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communicator, capable of clearly explaining testing objectives, procedures, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for handling small electronic components
- Occasional lifting of test equipment (up to 50 lbs)
